"Free For All Friday" with KINCH

Start your weekend off right with some free music from this week's "Free For All Friday" featured artist. Kinch is an indie band from Arizona and we've had the pleasure of seeing them play live once this year in Atlanta. Not only was I instantly moved by their stage presence but the band also embraces the future of music by supplying fans with free music. Please check out their more extensive biographies on last.fm and the notes about the latest EP. These guys have a pretty impressive past. All three releases are available for free download and we are sharing them with you right here. We say they rock something like: Coldplay, Ben Folds, Air Traffic & Something Corporate.

Friday, December 11, 2009: Rising Icons - Atlanta

All the stops were pulled out this past weekend at Whiskey Park for the Rising Icons Event presented by 944 Media. Grey Goose and Bud Light were among the group of sponsors and we were lucky enough to receive the VIP treatment complete with complimentary bottles and beer. A custom stage was built inside the venue for local rising stars Frank Bell, The Modern Society, and Trances Arc to perform. Lovely host J. Monroe dropped her single post show and DJ Rimby wrapped up the evening spinning some late night hits. Photos of the event were taken courtesy of Jonathan Echeverry and The Midnight Socialite.

Stay tuned for a live video of Trances Arc.
